Since we do not work through insurance providers, there is no waiting list. You can be seen in person or via video consultation in a very short time.

All ICAdig specialists are gastroenterologists or pediatricians with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating digestive system disorders.   • No. Our medical team has extensive experience in all advanced and interventional diagnostic endoscopy techniques, ultrasound, and digestive functional tests. However, as our name indicates, ICAdig is an institute made up of a team specialized in clinical evaluation. This means that our mission is not simply to ‘perform tests,’ but to help you solve your digestive problems.
  • If, after a detailed assessment of your symptoms, we determine that any additional procedure—endoscopic or otherwise—is necessary, we will recommend it during your consultation.
  • No. Unfortunately, the terms of most current insurance policies do not allow medical professionals to dedicate the time and attention that our patients deserve.
  • Some policies include clauses that allow policyholders to receive full or partial reimbursement for consultation fees. We recommend checking with your insurance company to see if your policy offers this option.
Preparing for Your Appointment: Documentation and Next Steps
  • When you finalize your booking, you will receive a confirmation via SMS on your mobile phone and by email. This will include the date, time, type of consultation you selected, and the specialist who will attend you.
  • At the time of your appointment, your doctor will send you the link to join your video consultation, both via SMS to your mobile phone and to the email address you provided when booking. You will not receive the link beforehand, nor will you need to enter any virtual waiting room. You just need to wait for your specialist’s video call at the scheduled time.

It is not necessary. To ensure the confidentiality of consultations required by data protection laws, high standards of information encryption are needed, which are not available in conventional video call apps. ICAdig uses a video consultation platform that allows you to connect directly from your mobile device or email via a link that your doctor will send at the time of your appointment. It is very important to note that you must connect using an updated mobile phone, tablet, or personal computer with the latest version of Google Chrome or Safari.

Yes. At the end of the appointment confirmation message or email, you will see a link to the ‘Patient Portal.’ In this personal area, you can provide any information you consider necessary before your consultation. You can also watch a more detailed video tutorial available on our YouTube channel.

Indeed, you can send us documents or reports in PDF format, as well as image files, through your ‘Patient Portal’ once you have booked your appointment. Check here for instructions on how to do it.

Fees and Payment Method

Consultation payments are made directly through our website at the time of booking. Like any other online payment, you only need to enter your bank card details, your phone number, and the email address we will use to send your appointment confirmation. The security of the transaction is guaranteed by our secure payment platform, Stripe. If you encounter any difficulties with booking or payment, you can contact us at icadig@icadig.com

  • If you wish to reschedule your appointment, you can contact us at icadig@icadig.com. We will get in touch with you to offer alternative dates and times.
  • If you wish to cancel an appointment, please email us at least 24 hours before your scheduled time, and we will refund the amount you paid in advance. Depending on your bank, the refund will be processed within 5 to 10 business days.

After the Appointment
  • If you need medication, at the end of your consultation the specialist will send the official prescription to your email, which you can use at your pharmacy.
  • If any tests are required, you will also receive the necessary referral forms directly at your email address.
